WOW! STUFF WINS AT THE WORLDS LARGEST LICENSING AWARDS EVENT

Last night saw 1,200 licensing industry professionals gather at at the Grosvenor House Hotel for an evening of awards and celebration.

The winners of The Licensing Awards 2024 have been announced, following last night’s annual black-tie do at at the Grosvenor House Hotel, where more than 1,200 industry executives filled The Great Room.

Among the worthy winners was Wow! Stuff, with its Real FX Stitch ‘puppetronic’ toy taking home the award in the Innovation category. Licensing.biz’s Rachael Simpson-Jones and Mark Austin were lucky enough to join Wow! Stuff president Richard North and assorted guests for the evening, and witness the moment Stitch was unveiled as the winner – much to the team’s understandable delight.

Comedian Suzi Ruffell opened the awards with an energetic and very entertaining set, following a special spoof ‘The Traitors’ video starring the organisers of the event and a number of key The Traitors licensees, including Vivid Goliath’s Emma Weber, who aimed to diffuse the roundtable tension by suggesting everyone play a round of the company’s best-selling The Traitors board game.
